altho not much actual gameplay, this was cute and charming, gave me a good laugh. nice work, only wish it was a little more engaging- i didnt really have anything to do other than watch the brave hero jump around until he finally rescued me haha. is the hero controlled by random inputs or something?
I had a late start to the game jam due to prior commitments. There was a bit more gameplay planned, but got cut for the time constraints.
The hero is controlled by a very simple state machine. Essentially random inputs with a bit of structure to it. Example if currently moving right it is more likely to stop than to quickly swap to going left. And is overall more likely to move to the right than to the left.
